To gain the trust of customers in the AGC Group, we, as a company with chemicals as a technological platform, must focus on areas in which we can make the most of our strengths and provide the world with value. Toward that end, we have been working since the middle of last year to develop a long-term management plan that is based on the keywords "Environment" and "Safety, Security, and Comfort" and reaches out 20 years into the future. 2006 was the year that our Fluon® ETFE fluoropolymer film was chosen for use in the main stadium and swimming venue of the 2008 Olympics. Fluon® ETFE used in these types of projects; innovative structures that enable natural light to permeate, provide safe and comfortable structures. Fluon® ETFE is in this way enhancing our surroundings like other AGC products such as Lumiflon fluoropolymer coatings and caustic soda.
